We are not a tailor shop, but, rather, a highly skilled bridal studio specialized in custom-designed couture bridal gowns, bridal accessories, beaded gowns, European tailoring, and couture bridal alterations. We operate uniquely and differently from others. We do not just alter a dress from one or two seams, but we work accordingly and proportionally all around the dress and customize it to the bride and client's body. Due to our high skill and the time we spend on each project to get the best results, our prices are higher than average rates in LA. To give the best look, we work on the bust and under bust (the most important part of any dress) where no one else is skilled enough to touch.
We are by appointment only, but without a long wait. We answer all the emails we receive quickly-- sometimes within the hour-- mostly the same day if received during business hours with enough time to closing. This process is to schedule productive appointments for serious clients, who have sufficient budget considering our high skill, and their dresses meet the standards in our professional eyes only — we are unable to schedule appointments for those who do not meet these criteria. We are not designed to take calls. We do not provide consultations, suggestions, or estimates over the phone or online. We do not accept dresses that are so called "custom-made" ordered online and made long distance as they never meet the standards. No dress is custom-made if you didn't have at least three fittings through the process to make sure the dress fits you correctly. Dresses that are special orders in stores some times are called “custom-made”, but they always need alterations, and we accept them as long as they meet the standards and are properly made.
To request an appointment, please kindly make sure you have selected the CORRECT page and form for the alterations you need, and then patiently use the form as guided. All the fields are required as well as a reasonable budget for the project (considering our high skill, our rates are higher than average rates in LA). To avoid wasting your time with back-and-forth emails, please provide the information completely and upload your own very recent full-body pictures (front and back) in your actual dress (not the sample dress), very briefly (bullet points) list all the works you need and changes you like to see in your dress; and select your budget for your dress alterations. Please do not send links, as we are unable to click on them. Please do not send pictures of the dress on hangers or on the model, we only need you in your actual dress. You may find this process a bit odd, but once you use our services, you'll realize that the time was well spent and this was the hardest part of the process to make sure we are the best choice, ready for your project once you are here, and to ensure a pleasant experience.
Please read our FAQs, and do not call or email just to ask questions. To keep the studio calm and quiet for our brides in consultations or fitting, we are unable to take calls or make calls to our clients. To ensure clear and concise communications and references, all appointment requests and inquiries must be initiated through our website and continued by emails. Please consider viewing our FAQs before requesting an appointment. Please note that due to the wrong decision of some email providers such as Yahoo and AOL in dealing with spam, your yahoo.com ,aol.com, and some other email addresses might be blocked (when not using their server) without any notification or error and we'll never even know that you've submitted the "Contact Us" form! Please consider it very strange if you do not receive response in a timely manner and email us right away at: firstname.lastname@example.org. In fairness to our brides who use our services and products, we are committed to keep our cost under control by using our time and resources wisely, and we hope the forms are filled out only by those who found us their best choice, have the sufficient budget considering our high skill, and their dresses are made properly.
Our policy requires direct communication with the bride or client who will be wearing the dress and/or our bridal accessories. She is the only one we recognize as our client and we directly communicate with her only. The "Contact Form" should be filled out by her only. Bridal salons and wedding planners who expect no compensation but the best for their brides, please have your brides contact us directly.
Please make sure the service you are requesting an appointment for is included or very closely related to the services we provide. We only custom-design and custom-make wedding dresses, and occasionally take order on couture evening gowns. We are not able to accept orders for casual clothing or small projects. We are ONLY able to provide estimates and make suggestions during our paid official consultations (consultation fee will go towards the final cost if the order is placed during the appointment.). We do not give quotes or make any suggestions over the phone! Considering our high skill and limited openings, we are unable to schedule appointments just to provide consultations, or when the budget is not reasonable for the quality of our work and services.
